how

do you ever wonder how you got somewhere? you stop, take a look and think how am i here, right now, how did this happen? lately i've been having that feeling a lot. yesterday while sitting on the plane to visit my best friend i thought how did i get here, how am i on a plane to minnesota, how have a friend and i from 9 years ago still think its worth spending time together, how am i still single, how am i not in england right now, and how am sitting here thinking that people even would want to know what i have to say about anything. it is a mystery. so how am i in minnesota, well i guess you could blame that on a college bio-chem class, how is it still worth it 9 years later, well its because there are very few people in life that are worth the time, effort and money to keep the relationship going. how i am still single, i leave that one to choices. how am i not in england, that would be the government. and how am i writing this, well i love to write. 'how' questions are much easier than 'why' questions. because if i change all of those questions to why then i honestly don't know what the answers are. i believe job in the bible found that to be the case. asking why doesn't get you very far. asking how is at least a bit proactive and allows to you see the tangible threads. why questions can spiral you into endless self- examination but how questions promote the bigger picture. and right now i am glad i ended up in minnesota on a sunny day looking forward to a walk in the sunshine and about to enjoy a friday evening with my best friend. and i don't really care how or why i ended up here right now :) thankful for:

* God being able to handle all of our questions, the hows, the whys and everything else in between :)

* being in minnesota with sarah!

* a tiny vacation and a chance to get out of NJ :)

still no news just in case you are wondering. please pray for me and my team tho as my work is getting hard to accomplish without being there. i spend lots of time reading and writing emails. which is hard when your preferred communication style is face to face. pray everything gets communicated well. and pray i enjoy some time off instead of feeling the need to do more work.
